This analysis was to find the thickness of the thinnest part of the upper body of payload. It was based on a deflection of 1/16" of deflection and a 50 pound load applied at end of wing. This load was chosen based on the 40 g's of instantaneous impact and as it hits side ways on body. It shows that the thickness of the upper body could be roughly 0.43 inches but was rounded up to 0.5 inches to apply a safety factor and make it a standard size. The upper body is made out of the material PETG at 25% infill.
